Growing up in the central north of Australia, immersed in the outback was a unique experience and a little different from the norm, also being so close to Indonesia allowed me access early on to explore and surf the chain of islands, sparking a joy of exploring.

Having done every sport as a kid just to be outside, this would eventually lead to becoming a professional athlete, no world beater, but doing enough to survive and explore the world for over a decade. This would cement the love of travel and exploring.

The next chapter saw me turn back to surfing and start making Surf films, which then lead into individually producing/editing/filming/all the rest etc documentary TV series and feature documentaries. Which has allowed me to explore even more from the outer islands of Indonesia, to the mountains and backcountry of the Pacific Northwest of Canada/USA, then onto journeying through historical Europe, to the snow peaks of Japan, South America, the Pacific, more of Asia and of course, back to the harshness of the outback of Australia.
Having done a lot of film shoots and photo shoots for brands over the decade, a chance opportunity with a motorbike company in the mountains and dirt trails of Canada lit a fire and sparked an old desire to explore on a motorbike.

With a halt on international travel for a while, it gave me more time to focus on personal projects, this led to getting on a bike, picking a direction and with no plan heading off to explore.
