Ochre and The Milky Lake
Seeing a satellite image of the Queensland south west outback, I spotted a green lake surrounded by the harsh Ochre earth, so I ventured out to see if I could capture an image.
With recent rain that had fallen, stirring up the white sand on the bottom of the lake along with the wind (you can actually see the ripples of waves near the shore) it turned the water white and there was a lot more ground cover due to the the rains. You’ll also notice the shadows from the clouds across the image.
